Climate Philanthropy • Research • Practice
I study and build institutions that help communities navigate climate change while expanding democratic ownership, environmental justice, and community power.
I'm a climate philanthropy strategist, institutional designer, and environmental justice leader. My work sits at the intersection of philanthropy, public policy, democratic governance, and community ownership.
Current research focuses on democratic climate governance, community ownership, trust-based philanthropy, Black rural resilience, and financing just climate transitions.
Through Pattern House Advisory, I partner with foundations, nonprofits, and mission-driven organizations to build community-centered strategies for climate resilience and institutional change.
Essays, reports, research publications, and eventually... a book.
